| Ok people! I’m back and ready to give you a long update, it was supposed to be the last of the year but as you can see it’s not, it became the first of 2007; life’s been really busy, so here you have …. I was extremely busy (cause that’s how it is the last month of the year and we always have tons of work to do so we can get off two weeks for vacations so…. here we go! (This part was supposed to be posted on Thanksgiving Day…) Through the years our family has received so many blessings from our dear Lord and Savior, we’ve seen His hand through every thing we’ve done and a couple of months ago, my sister Ana, my dad and I were talking about things God has given us through out the years and how he has made them last till now! is amazing how you can take a look back and remember when you yielded your rights to the things you have and that you know God’s the one who gave them to you, one of them was a ’91 Red VW (bug), we drove that car for about 375, 000 km. (234,375 miles!) Man, if that car had spoken, every 15 days we drove to San Antonio, TX for about 3 years, to visit some friends and help with a mission they started, well, we sold the car standing and working, why did we sale the car? ‘Cause we needed a bigger car, and well, the Lord provided us of a ‘92 Burgundy Oldsmobile, a really nice car! And we sold that car two years ago because the Lord provided us of a Ford pick up that we needed to work on our property that also He gave us, a property we were praying for and it was one of my dad’s dream, well, then he provided us of two other cars! We never thought of having too many cars! Now we dunno how to make them fit in our garage! The Lord is faithful even when we are unfaithful, His mercy and love for us is above all things. While talking about all this then my dad pointed to a Microwave that has been with us for 11 years and we have never had problems with it! Also we have a refrigerator that has been with us too for 28 years or maybe more! ALSO a washer machine and a dryer both for 17 years! This shows us how we forget to thank God for things we’ve yielded our rights to Him and because He’s in charge of them we just continue our lives with no problems! and I could continue telling you all the things that we have that have lasted for YEARS and they are still in use! AMAZING! “THANK YOU LORD” More things I’m thankful for are:
For my grandmas…
My grandma on my dad’s side… just turned 88 on Nov. 6, (note the candles, since she turned 80 we’ve been changing the last number, hee hee) she believes in Jesus, she cares for us, she’s a SUPER GRANDMA, (she’s the one I told ya on one of my posts) She’s very funny, she’ll make you laugh at any time! You never know what she’s gonna do or say but she’s great, I love her!
My grandma on my mom’s…. she’s so nice, even thou she’s not christian, she’s so cute and lovely, when we were little, she’d just ask the 3 of us what we wanted to eat for breakfast, lunch or dinner and she’ll do it! Isn’t that great! (After my parents knew that they told us her house was not a restaurant!) Anyway, she is so funny too! She looks like a serious grandma but when we get together... MAN! You end up with a stomach ache cause of laughing so hard while she looks so cute with a face of “what did I say?”!
My Parents!!! They celebrated their 30th Anniversary!!! I love my parents, they’ve taught me tons of things I can’t number them, I’m thankful for how patient they’ve being to me and for their love for me. Dec. 5th was my mom’s b-day, we went out for dinner to her favorite restaurant. “Los Generales”. (Good stuff by the way!)
Jan 4th will be my dad’s b-day!!!! We still dunno what to do for his B-day, probably just go out for dinner, if you have any ideas please tell me! My dad, he’s got a problem with his back, since he was 20 or so, please keep him in your prayers and also me and my sister Ana, ‘cause when dad’s “Out of service” (as he says) we have the whole loan of work on us, may be God wants him to take a break, and if it is…. we need more strength and wisdom to run the office.
My Crazy Sisters! OMW! Even thou is hard to live with them… I love’em, they’re way fun people to hang out with, you’re welcome to take them home for a weekend, and I don’t say a week ‘cause you’ll bring them back on saturday morning! JK. Here they’re…my great sisters! Some of you already know about Yolanda getting married, right? I TOLD YA TO BE PREPARED! It was a LONG POST! there’s more coming soon! GOD BLESS YOU! |
